NYE - 2015

I approached New Years Eve this year with a bouncing excitement after all 2015 had been a great year for me - exciting new work opportunities and seeing some of my styling work published. It was a year filled with creativity and plenty of time spent watching my son grow and make big strides in his confidence and ability. A celebration was called for and Sydney provided the fireworks.

I will always adore the fireworks - the splash of colour that ignites the sky, the crackles and sprays of noise and light. Most of all it is the fleeting ephemeral beauty - something so magnificent that vanishes in a plume of smoke so quickly.

And afterwards there is that thick haze of coloured smoke that masks the familiar landscape and reminds us that something special has just passed us by.
