Inspired by the beautiful songbirds in the Sherborne Missal this illustration is my modern take on the ancient manuscript. The bird takes pride of place on a gilded gold leaf tree branch. 

I created this illuminated manuscript in a traditional style but with a twist - it is a tribute to contemporary dance music with the tangled knot work of iPod ear buds.

This calligraphy piece features a large flourished capital. Created for the medieval re-enactment group the SCA.

This piece of calligraphy I penned features the text of an original poem I wrote. It is finished off with a delicate illustration reflecting the spray of the sea.
