For each year of the Chinese Lunar Cycle that I have celebrated with my husband I have designed and hand-cut a pair of Chinese Zodiac animals. I start with a sketch and pencil in the outline and the cut out design before carefully cutting it out with a scalpel to reveal the animal within. 

Here the Year of the Monkey makes way for the Year of the Rooster. 

For each year of the Chinese Lunar Cycle that I have celebrated with my husband I have designed and hand-cut a pair of Chinese Zodiac animals. 

The two Roosters are cut and ready for the commencement of CNY celebrations. One rooster stays with us whilst the other rooster will be gifted to my husband's family.
