A bespoke invitation design is the perfect way to tell your unique love story.
I create each invitation design using my own original artwork developed to match the brief received by you the customer. So each invitation is tailored to reflect the style of your event and represent your passions and interests.
This listing is for the artwork fee, the cost that covers all my time, skill and expertise. It includes all the original sketches, watercolour or ink illustrations and graphic design required to create the design for you.
On completion of the design you can choose whether to receive a digital ready press artwork to print yourself (perfect for customers located overseas) or else I can arrange for your invitation designs to be printed locally at a specialist invitation printer which offers a full range of beautiful paper stocks and printing finishes like digital, letterpress, foil and diecutting (perfect for local Australian customers). Printing costs are seperate to the artwork costs and calculated depending on the quantity, paper stock and printing finish required.
A Single Invitation: A one piece design that includes one original illustration element
Invitation Suite: A multi-piece design that includes two to four original illustrations
Tri/Quad fold Invitation: An six-eight panel folded invitation design that features four to eight original illustrations.
Timelines:
In general I aim to complete a single invitation design in a 2-4 week period of time. An Invitation suite in a 4-8 week period of time and a Tri/Quad fold invitation in a 4-8 week period of time. Sometimes the design period may take longer, particularly if you are waiting to confirm details of your event or make decisions on which artwork option you’d like to see developed. Artwork can also be completed in a shorter period of time then the above “average” working time frames so if you have an urgent deadline please contact me prior to booking in on elk@bigpond.net.au to check whether I can accommodate a shorter turnaround time than usual.
