Japan Travel Guide: Kyoto Walking Tour

Japan Travel Guide: Kyoto Walking Tour

A$8.00

As an avid lover of travelling around Japan my friends often ask me for advice on where to go. I have designed this walking tour as an answer to the question of how best to spend a single day in Kyoto. Kyoto is of course a city rich in history, culture, beautiful scenery and interesting food so one day would never be enough to properly experience this wonderful city.

This walking tour though is a great starting point for understanding Kyoto and to experience a range of different styles of architecture and garden design. It encompasses Shinto shrines as well as Buddhist temples and the chance to enjoy seasonal gardens and tranquil avenues. To whet your appetite for what to expect I’ve included some images from the walk in the preview images on this listing.

This walking tour is also a great addition for those who have already pencilled in the more common tourist attractions of Fushimi Inari Shrine, Arashiyama’s Bamboo Grove and the Golden Pavillion, Kinkakuji.

This downloadable print-ready PDF guide features a map, watercolour illustrations of the key attractions and notes highlighting what makes each place interesting to visit. There are also some tips for the best season to experience these attractions.
