Australia Day

The sun was shining for the annual day of picnic's and barbecues. We joined my uni friends down at Nielsen Park, Vaucluse armed with salad and lamingtons.  

I like the simplicity of Australia Day and how you can go anywhere and have a nice time. You could check out the numerous activities scattered across the country if you want or just picnic in a scenic spot. Nielsen Park has a bit of everything with the views of the harbour and passing yacht races and underneath the flight path of the roaring jet fly overs. There's swimming and lots of other groups gathering to relax and enjoy the end of the summer break period.
