Penny and Bob’s wedding was a beautiful classic farm wedding and featured ivy and oak leaves to represent the trees that were an important feature of the family farm.

The letterpress printed invites were all individually painted by hand with watercolours for a final luxurious and artisanal finish.

Created for a 40th Birthday party these invitations feature dramatic hand-painted watercolour rose flowers in tribute to the work of fashion designer Valentino.  The Italian fashion theme suited the birthday girl perfectly.

This work in progress shot shows the process of how each flower was hand-painted onto the invitations. Labour intensive but the results are absolutely stunning and need to be seen to truly appreciate the beauty of the watercolours.

This invitation suite was created for my own wedding. Held at Berowra Waters Inn I took my inspiration from the beautiful river setting of the location. Ducks have always been a symbol of peace and happiness in my family so the pair of ducks became an important motif. I also wanted to represent the full colour palette I was using for the wedding of cream/lemon/pink and pale green.

Due to the remote location and particular access to the wedding I created a detailed map with instructions for guests to follow. Featuring illustrations of the wedding venue as well as map directions.

For my wedding I also designed this intricate symbol featuring the Chinese symbol for double happiness in the centre. Around it are nesting love birds, a pair of swimming goldfish and flowers. It is hand-cut and incredibly delicate and was created as a special one-off card to give to my husband.

Created for a Bridal Shower event this invitation captures the essence of the event and sets up the expectation for a sophisticated celebratory day with the girls. The bride-to-be enjoyed a floral crown making workshop followed by an afternoon high tea before finally heading out for cocktails in the city.

Designed for a botanical inspired 30th held at Mount Tomah Botanical Gardens in the Blue Mountains I created this design featuring the Wollemi Pine. This tree was a favourite of Alison's and was also the location of the event so it was the perfect central feature for the design. The invitation also features hand-lettering details to give it a vintage feel to suit the personality of Alison.

This original hand painted watercolour artwork was produced for a botanical themed photoshoot organised by Life's Little Celebrations and styled by Dream a Little Dream Events with I Heart Table Art.  This botanical theme was beautiful, feminine and very pretty and the inclusion of original artworks make it truly special. It featured on Party with Lenzo and Ruffled Blog.

A key feature of the In Full Bloom photoshoot was a beautiful gift station for guests. Featuring a back wall of original botanical artworks by myself there were 'seed packet' cookies and terrarium jars for guests to take home. Each jar was tied off with a hand-drawn  gift tag by ELK Prints.

These hand-painted tags hung around empty milk bottles were a key element of the flower bar created for an event. Guests could take a bottle and fill it with a mix of flowers making a beautiful, romantic  gift to take home and remember the event. 

A flower bar is a lovely idea for your wedding, the flowers themselves help to decorate your event and make a fragrant memory for your guests to remember the event by. 

Created for a photoshoot organised by Life's Little Celebrations and styled by The Simple Party this welcome sign is hand-calligraphed onto a subtle watercolour washed paper. Inspired by the notion of "Love is a Journey" the photoshoot featured natural textures and vintage travel motifs.

This wedding invitation features a sketch of the wedding couple themselves sharing a loving kiss. I created the original drawing based on a photograph of them in casual dress kissing. The invitation was then finished off with a strip of art paper to create a simple but effective design.

For Catherine and Tom I created an entwined C + T monogram, their initials looped together reminiscent of the eternal circle of union symbolised by the wedding rings.  A subtle botanical illustration completed the design for a natural and elegant theme.
